Activities

Shotokan Karate-Do (SKIF System) is a traditional Japanese martial art. For the beginning student, this is a fun, structured introduction to the art of Karate. 

Great for development of self-esteem, balance, physical fitness, and a basic understanding of Japanese Karate-Do.

 Students train in the basic exercises involving:

  • Blocking
  • Forms
  • Kicking
  • Punching
  • Self-defense
  • Sparring
  • Stances

A white karate uniform is required for class and can be ordered through the instructor at the first class.

Your instructor is Sensei James Shea 7th Dan SKIF (more than 47 years' experience).
