Child Care Director, Marina Blanusa

Marina Blanusa

My name is Marina and I am the Daycare Director of Greenwood Children’s Center.  I have been in the childcare field for over 23 years.  I started my career at Greenwood Children’s Center as an infant teacher and became the Director in 2014.  I graduated from Springfield Technical Community College with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts; I am also EEC Director 1 and 2 qualified. My goal is to provide an environment where your children are safe in our care and are able to learn and grow at their own pace. I believe that building long lasting, trusting relationships with the children and their families is the cornerstone for success of our program. I love watching the children grow and learn each day and am always amazed at their growth and independence as they transition throughout the program. With two grown daughters of my own, I have experienced first-hand how precious these early childhood years are, and how quickly they go by and I look forward to making them memorable ones for you and your children. In my spare time, I love to be outdoors, boating, traveling with my husband, and visiting my daughters.

Hi, my name is Talia! I have been working at Greenwood for 3 years. I am an EEC qualified Lead Teacher and I am the infant teacher.  Being the infant teacher is one of the most rewarding things, I love getting to see these sweet children learn so many new things every day.  On the weekends and during my free time, I have been lucky enough to spend extra time with some of my kiddos by babysitting!  I love spending time with my family and friends, or just taking a day to relax and watch movies all day! I can’t wait to meet all of you and your children and build long lasting relationships!
