October 2022 Update: The Town is currently requesting proposals for a qualified planning consultant to lead the Long Range Plan update process. We expect to have hired a consultant by early November, at which point this page will be more fully built out. The Town of Longmeadow has begun the process to update our Long Range Plan — our roadmap for the climate resilient, equitable future of our community. Long Range Plans shape how a community grows over the next 10 to 20 years, and set priorities for climate resilience, social equity, development and land use, municipal services, public health, education, housing, and other quality of life issues.

We need to hear from you! The Long Range Plan process is community-driven! There will be myriad opportunities for Longmeadow residents and other stakeholders to participate in public engagement activities, provide feedback regarding current levels of service, help prioritize new strategies, and envision the resilient and equitable Longmeadow of the future.
