FALL SESSION
- Superheroes Saving Planet Earth
- Time: Tuesdays, 2:45 - 4:00pm
- Dates: November 7 - January 2 (no class 12/26)

Superhero girls and boys soar off on a top-secret mission to save planet Earth using the most important superpower of all: imagination! Like Powerpuffs and Spider Boys, we'll design our own superhero masks, shields, and capes to protect our secret identities, and even build superhero sidekicks to accompany us as we save the world.
During these fun and resourceful art experiences, Super Art Heroes create a variety of AMAZING and original works of art using natural, recycled and unconventional art forms and techniques. Paint canvas tote bags, construct your own super-vehicles, and make superhero-stained glass! Paint a rocketship, create yarn art on jars, and draw superhero self-portraits. Color ceramic superhero banks, build secret comic book boxes, and explore the art of printmaking while designing bubble wrap t-shirts. Both girls and boys will have a blast as members of the League of Super Art Heroes, saving the Earth with exciting and environmentally conscious masterpieces.

Art travelers go on a spectacular journey around the globe, touring various countries and cultures. Create hot air balloon lanterns to take you up and away! Each week we land somewhere in the world and create wicked cool cultural art using unique materials and artisan's techniques.
Design Mosaic Picture Frames in Greece, and sculpt miniature clay Vejigante Masks in Puerto Rico. Build Tribal Rain Sticks in Australia, and paint Maracas in Brazil. Plus, design Japanese Windsocks, Mexican Yarn Paintings, Spanish Paper Fans, Native American Story Necklaces, and more! Fun facts about each country and culture, geography and art history are included. Throw your imagination in your suitcase and let's hit the road!
SPRING SESSION
- Art-ventures in the Rainforest
- Time: Tuesdays, 2:45-4pm
- Dates: April 23 - May 28 (6 week program only)
- Fee: $142

Head off on a jungle safari! Art adventurers trek through the rainforest, discovering the wondrous and rare creatures that call it home. Journey into the world of parrots, jungle cats, snakes, red-eyed tree frogs and more, and experiment with whimsical and original art forms and techniques. Create stained glass tigers, build rockin' rain sticks, paint ceramic turtles, design repoussé reptiles, and sculpt froggy light switch covers.
Throughout the voyage art adventurers learn about the importance of saving the rainforest, and pick up super artist survival skills like printmaking, painting, collage, and journaling. They even make their own t-shirts using a unique and unusual oil pastel technique. Surprises and laughter round out this fun-filled art safari. Adventurers return home with awesome works of art each week.

- Art-ventures with Penguins and Polar Bears
- Time: Mondays, 2:45-4pm

Embark upon a journey through the Arctic and Antarctic regions to learn about the captivating lives of penguins, polar bears, and other cold-weather creatures. In this fun, art packed series, art explorers-equipped with a myriad of unique materials, tools, and techniques– set out on an adventure across frozen tundra to discover life in and around the icy waters of the earth's Poles.
Sculpt clay polar bears and penguin reliefs. Build sand castle lighthouses and create shimmery sea jellies out of recycled materials. Paint sharks or fish on stretched canvases. Explore the art of decoupage, collage, stained glass and so much more while learning fun facts about endangered creatures and the importance of being kind to our earth and oceans. Don’t miss the Art-rageous fun!

Animals have been an important subject for artists all over the world since the beginning of time. From ancient caves to the present day magnificent creatures can be seen in paintings, sculptures, ceramics, mosaic art, fabric design, masks and stained glass. On a wild journey through the animal kingdom, art adventurers discover a multitude of kooky critters--as well as their own creativity--while exploring various techniques, tools, textures and materials.
Stained glass giraffes, fabric dogs, ceramic elephants, wooden snakes, colorful dinosaurs, and clay lions with fluffy fiber manes. These are just a few of the animals created during our cool and playful art excursions. Fun facts about each creature are included and masterpieces go home each week. A ROARING good time!

Art–venturers explore many whimsical and original art forms and techniques, discovering clay and collage, painting and drawing, mask-making, and decorating, just to name a few!
Sculpt colorful hybrid creatures and clay pots. Design ceramic robots, celestial windchimes, and awesome airplanes. Decorate birdhouses, wooden guitars, and goofy masks. Create cityscape printmaking, letter collages, and panda drawings. Even make your own tape resist t-shirts!
Plus, hear wonderful stories, such as "Where the Wild Things Are" or "Nova the Robot," that go hand-in-hand with each project. Humor and surprises are always included. Explore, experiment, create! Art-venturers bring home awesome works of art each week! So much FUN

Abracadabra, Hocus Pocus, its magic, and mystery with art as the focus! Magical Art Mystery Tour draws children into a world of wonder, revealing unbelievable art tricks and inspiring out-of-the-box creativity. Experiment with new and mysterious mediums and discover surprising techniques to transform familiar materials into magical masterpieces.
Sculpt clay lizards and build lizard playgrounds out of sticky magic "nuudles". Create colorful ceramic piggy banks, whimsical Model Magic owls and scratch a work of art inspired by the artist, Miro. Wave wands over T-shirts to form magical designs using fabric printing inks and stir a few unexpected items into a "fluffy goop" potion.
Discover the secret ingredient that turns pencils into paints, black lines into circus elephants, and torn paper into painted landscapes. And so much more! The results are totally "WOW." And...voila...young art magicians bring home masterpieces each week.

School Vacation Art-ventures
- Fluffy Snowmen & Artsy Icicles

In this awesome art-venture, children will go walkin' in a winter wonderland. Make snowman collages using shaving cream, sculpt glittery clay icicles, paint wooden boxes with a wintery theme, and draw snowy trees with oil pastels and splatter paint. Get ready for some super, seasonal fun!

- My Animal, Me & the Clay Safari

My Animal Me & Clay Safari Creating with clay! According to pre‐Columbian legend, each person shares a common destiny with an animal—called a “Tona”— that matches his or her personality. (Think bird for someone who likes to sing or cheetah for someone who is a fast runner.) During this workshop, sculpt awesome “Tona” masks out of clay, then bring them to life with paint, feathers, and more! Plus, design and decorate ceramic dinosaur banks, and create detailed drawings of brightly colored owls.
